Not recommended by Slow Death in the Afternoon Podcast.
Slow Death in the Afternoon Podcast does not recommend Le Tourment. Just so that you know.
  1. Bonnie says:

Why not recommend Le Tourment (just so I know)?

  2. Jerry says:

Hi Bonnie! Le Tourment is not a … it isn’t … I’m trying to put this as delicately as I can. 🙂

It’s not wonderful. We’re not so fond of Lucid, either, but we’d recommend Lucid over Le Tourment. The one lower-end absinthe we do recommend is called Kubler — we drink that all the time, because quite frankly we can’t always afford the ones we really really like.

  3. Melanie says:

I have GOT to go up to Centennial Liquors and see if they carry any absinthe. But I’ll make sure to avoid La Tourment or Lucid.
